Zara
The territory outskirts were a place she patrolled often, a feat ost found odd for the Queen. most assumed that such trivial tasks would be left to the guards or warriors, but Zara had a habbit off getting things done herself- is she wanted it done right at least. The elegant Queen was a sucker for order and precision, and to keep things running smoothly she often felt the need to involve herself. Bsides, it wasn't as if many wouldobject; she was sleek, well muscled, cunning, and perservered in all the attempted. Truly this white wolf was one to be revered.
With her body slipping through te wide spread, thin trunked trees, Zara relied heavily on her senses to pick up on anything that might be out of place. As she moved along at an endless trot, her energy far from spent, she caught sight of something mid step that brought her to a sliding halt. Feline tracks. At once her fur bristled in distaste and she took a thorough look around her. The prints were small, and the large canine could only guess the young cat had wandered here by mistake. Well, it was a mistake it would pay for if she caught him. As Queen it was her job to ensure that pests such as this kept off her land, and though killing it would be the easiest way to deal with the issue, there might be something to gain by keeping it alive. A youngster was no doubt naive, and if she could use this....

The ground beneath his feet were strange, there was no mud, no dirt. The ground was green like the trees. Did the ground always grow this dry? There was little give to the ground under his paws; which was strange to him. He must have wandered past his usually land. The land was filled to the brim with new scents, that he found pleasing to his senses. The food here was strange as well;nothing like his home land. The bushes smelt of berries, berries that he never smelt before. Before long a small rabbit ran from its hiding place out into the open, and Linkk, using his feline instincts ran for it. He bolted for the rabbit, running as fast as he could. The rabbit was quick, but linkk was also quick. Linkk had never experienced anything such as this before. His freedom was limited where he came from. For the first time he felt free, free to do whatever he wished. This little kit was in constant danger. From predators, and natural dangers this kit could be in trouble at any moment. There was no turning back however. He had no idea where he was, but he enjoyed it. Why was his home not like this? The trees were high and dry, unlike the wetlands. The young kit wandered through the wood, following the rabbit. Linkk lowered himself to the ground and hid behind a bush. The rabbit had wandered into a clearing and there it stood, wondering if the feline had stopped chasing it. The rabbit looked around and put its nose to the air to sniff. Linkk was low to the ground and did not make a sound. he waited for his prey to turn around, and then pounced. The kit growled and jumped at the rabbit. The kit would have hit its mark if he did not know how far away he was from the rabbit. The rabbit made a break for it into the wood, and left Linkk on ground. He hit the ground with his muzzle and sat himself on the ground to relieve the pain. He rubbed his nose with his paws. "Ow."

Zara
She could sense that the kit was close by, but where? The wind was not in her favor today, and so she might have gone off searching in the utterly wrong direction if nature had not been on her side. To her left, about 12 paces away, a rabbit came bolting through some shrubs. It veered at the sight of her, but Zara held no interest in chasing the morsel. No, her silvery eyes were on a much better prize then rabbit meat, wich she could find in her territory wherever she looked. Taking in a deep breath the canine readied herself. Had this been a fully grown feline she would have charged it without second thought, all to willing to put an end to it's miserable life, but this was a chhild, and though she held no exceptions for youngsters of other species, there was a chance she could extract useful information from the cub. The felines nor equines had made an attempt on the canine Kingdom in a long time, but Zara knew this tranquility would shift soon- but when?
Now calmed from the realization that there was a cat in her land, the white wolfs fur was no longer on end, and she appeared as together and unphased as she typically did. Boy, if there was one thing that could get her fur up it was a cat. With swifft steps slathered in purpose the huntress slipped into the shrubs that the rodent had just come from. Pushing her way to the other side where the trees opened up once more, she found what she was looking for. It was a cub, not even a year and just around a foot tall. Her jaws clenched at the thought of how easy it would be to take him now. No doubt the little one was fast, but a single stride of hers would no doubt overtake two of his, and as Zara had yet to meet a wolf who could match her stamina and speed she liked the odds of her coming out on top. But that wasn't her plan. "Your no hunter cub." Though her voice was elegant and as silky as her own coat, there was a hardened tone to it, something reserved for times like this. "Have you any idea what the consequences to your actions will be? she asked with narrowed eyes. As a slvae to his own kind he would be severely punished for coming here- if he ever got out. "Why have you come here child?" she growled, teeth flashing for a single moment as her tail stiffened.

Linkk rubbed his face with his paws, and then against the ground to ease the pain. He whimpered at the pain from the fall and shook his head. Weak fur fell off and floated to the ground gently. Linkk made an attempt to get to his feet, his care free attitude would be crushed. Words came and hit him just as if he hit the ground once more. His ears perked up and turned to look at where the words were coming from. The words were sharp, and harsh. Linkk had not heard such harshness in words since he had left his own masters land. Even though he lived on slave land, never once was he brutally yelled at by any jaguar or leopard. The young kit was always off to the side and never in any danger, and this; this was new to him. He turned to face the speaker, and his ears suddenly lowered against his head. He saw the fierce eyes of the canine and realized where he actually was. Canines were forever a threat to the feline tribe, and Linkk grew up knowing that. The racists ideas that filled many of the felines were set in stone already in this little kit. Linkk grew up with the knowledge that canines were weaker then felines, that felines were the dominate species of all the kingdoms. However, these thoughts and ideas seemed to vanish as he laid his eyes on the hunting canine. His body possession instantly slinked and lowered to the ground. His ears were against his head as his tail slipped under his legs. He lowered himself to the ground, looking at the canine with big eyes. His eyes were not of normal coloration. His eyes were different, to the left his eye was blue, as to the left it was green. He stared at the canine with fear; he had no idea how this canine found him. The feline had wandered for days on end, he did not think his tiny legs would carry him to the canine territory, he thought wrong. "I, I don't know where I am." Linkk's usual speech was shriveled, along with his confidence. He was once a brave and powerful feline, to grow one day into a...medium sized ocelot, no larger then a house cat. Linkk shook his head and attempted to get even lower to the ground, which did not work. He was as close to the ground as he could be, if he could get any closer to the ground, he would be 6 feet under.

Zara
Fear resonated from the cub in torrents, and Zara found herself pleased. No doubt that this little one had been instilled with the beleifs of the felines, and there was even less of a doubt that she was proving them wrong. Pressing himself to the ground as he was doing was no doubt something done out of sheer terror, but in the canine world this was an act of obvious submission, and Zara found herself relaxing somewhat- at least he wouldn't be trouble, she would have hated to kill him without learning anything."I, I don't know where I am." His voice came out in a stutter, and Zara growled fostly." Clearly." she said darkly. With slow, purposeful steps she began to look him over, encircling him. He held the spots the leopards did, yet his kind were enslaved. "It is unusual for one of your kind to be on your own- are you not usually slaves to the bigger cats?" She would begin with some simple phychological warefare, turning im against his own kind. The feines had already done half the work by subjecting him to what she was sure was an unhappy life. Zara, with servant of her own, alwas made sure they were well tended and healthy. The felines however, were more well known for using and abusing their own, a pointless and pathetic action. "Or has Loki set you free? I hear it's not his style..." Zara, who hated leopards, despised the arrogant feline King. To sink her teeth into him would be something she was willing to die for, especually if it was the bite that ended him.

The larger canine frightened the smaller kit. This was real danger, this was not a play fight with another small feline. The canine was white, as if it was a ghost; come to haunt him. Linkk watched the canine, perhaps he could make a break for it once it turned its back; but running could strike an inner instinct to chase and kill. Linkk was frightened and curled his way inward to the ground, keeping his chin just off the ground. The feline had never felt the danger that he felt now. At any moment the canine could lunge and kill the innocent cat; he did not have the upper hand here. It was true though, it was not the cat's place to be here; and he knew it now. There was a thin line between the territories, only separated by a stream, or a clearing; and young Linkk did not know of these lines. "I ran away..." The cat replied. The kitten was skittish and was not entirely sure if he had given the correct answer or not. Linkk looked on at the canine, following it with its eyes. His head moved with him, making sure not to leave himself with any blind spots. At the mention of the name 'Loki' Linkk did not recognize it. He was an uneducated slave of the feline tribe; and did not know one feline from another. A look of puzzlement appeared on the cats face, but it quickly faded back to fear as the canine continued to speak to him. The young kit felt almost as if he was being spoken to by an angry mother feline. Yelling their kit for running off, or doing something they weren't supposed to. The canine had no sense of sympathy however, and did not show any signs of lightening up. Linkk's fur stood on end as he watched the canine. It's teeth were impressive. White, large, and sharp; unlike his own. Linkk's teeth were fairly white, but stained by the quality of food he would take in, his teeth were also small, and new teeth would eventually peek their way through the latter parts of the deep corners of his jaw. He was not an impressive cat, for he would grow to be a common slave in the kingdom if he had not escaped. Even though the kit was free, how free would he be now; caught between a canine and a hard place.

Zara
Lower to the ground the feline slunk, it's spotted form so fragile among the dirt and grasses. With a toothy sneer she ceased her circling, settling before him. Her brain was reeling with plots, cunning plans tat would assist her Kingdom in victory- and this little cub might be the answer."I ran away..." Ears perked slightly, but other than that there was not a single indication that she had decided she wasn't going to kill him yet."So, your a traitor to your King." she snarled with a flick of her sleek tail. As if she really cared- but she had to play the part to make it convincing. Right now it looked as if she might turn him over to Loki herself, or kill him. Two powerful strides brought him to her feet, hackles raised in violent intent. Then, all was calm. She stood above him, no longer a storm cloud ready to unleash fury, but a cloud of calm white. Silvery blues eyes settled on the cowering cat, and at last she spoke."Of course, Feline slavery is a cruel fait." This she spoke with truth- though she would make certain her servants were kept in line and passive in her midst, she would never treat them cruelly without a reason. The King she was not so sure of, but she would not let it pass in her presence."I have decided to spare your life cub- for now." this feline, though small and weak now, was an opportunity.Naive and prone to manipulation, she could mold this little kit into a lethal parasite that could lead to the downfall of the Felines. Once they were taken, the horses would fall immediately. Of course, the horses would be easy to destroy anyway, weather the cats existed or not."If you prove of use to me, it may stay that way." Lowering her skull, jaws clasp shut gently but firmly around the kits scruff. Like one of her own pups she lifted him with ease, noting at once how unlike a pup it was. The shorter, soft fur was not a texture she was used to, but she ignored it as she padded off. The kit could squirm in her grip all he wanted, but he would only succeed in hurting himself- Zara was not about to let go. Strides were strong and confident, despite the risk of what she was doing. As long as this cub stayed with her he would survive, but in the face of her King she was sure a debate would rise. She would have to convince him that this was the way, that they could get all they wanted. Through the trees she went, toward the castle.
