Fiaza nodded, knowing that she probably wasn't allowed in the grounds anyway. She was an outcast and new here, why should she me able to go on private grounds. Slowly, taking in the thought of being alone, the cheetah laid down. The golden cat was ready for a long night ahead of her, battling off other animals and hopfully not another sleepless night.
"Sleep well, Oracle Paxx." Fiaza smiled. Were they friends or just coworkers? Were they even that, was she a charity case? The thought tired her, after being exiled she had become more self conscious. She just didn't want to be kicked out again, that's all. After being here a while it would get better, right? She would be on solid ground, the main messenger for the feline kingdom, that was all that mattered.
The snow leopard walked away and Fiaza felt a little sad inside to see her go. For once, she had enjoyed the company of an Oracle and had began to really like being with Paxx. In some ways, she felt comfortable around her but at the same time, Fiaza hadn't known her long enough to know where was the point to overstepping her boundary. It was hard for Fiaza to be in a new place but at the same time, it was nice to see new faces. Even if it had only been one so far. There would be more. More faces... was the last thing she thought of before dreams took over the cheetah's body. Encasing her in a magical land where nothing bad actually happened. Dreams were nice, a place to get away.

The white snow cat looked at the cheetah with an approving nod. Whether or not the cat considered the cheetah as a friend, was not at the front of her mind right now. There were many things that the cat could be thinking about, many things that didn't regard the cheetah in any way or form. The sky was becoming back and the cat knew it was time for rest.
The one time when the cat was at rest and at peace was in her dreams. In the realm of sleep the cat could rest her head, and listen to the voices of the spirits with ease. There was no filtering of outside voices, there was nothing to distract her. If it was one thing the cat loved, it was being able to do her job without no one else around. She was one with the spirits and those who questioned her were proven wrong.
As the snow leopard nodded she turned away from the cheetah. The snow leopard seemed to disappear into the night sky, her white coat melting into the now black landscape. The white cat did in fact disappear into the night, as she faded, faded into a background of blacks and dark greys. The cheetah was left alone, physically but not completely.
Paxx did not disappear for good, if the cheetah had the eyes for it she would see where she appeared at. The white cat lay hidden in a tree near by the cheetah, only but a few feet away. the tree was dying and would crack and break any second; however it seemed as if the oracle did not even sit upon it. The weight that Paxx posed was not light, but not fat; and it seemed as if the cat was weightless as she lay upon the tree. It must have been magic that kept the tree from breaking; or the cat was lucky; either would work.
The white cat watched the cheetah as if a hawk was stalking its prey, or maybe as a mother would guard her kits...she could not yet decide her feelings toward the young cat. She knew she would find use in the feline, but she wasn't sure of what their relationship would indeed be. The cat twitched her ears as she let the spirits slowly come to her and speak. She laid her head against the battered bark of the tree and shut her eyes closed. Sleep would consume her, but it wouldn't come with ease. being away from the castle was so strange to her, and not being with Loki, Veraj, or any cat she trusted would be very challenging for her. The cat kept her eyes closed, but on the inside she burned. It would be a long night; and day break couldn't come any quicker.

Fiaza became more and more comfortable with her surroundings with time. She cuddled up next to a rock and laid her head on the dusty floor. The cheetah closed her eyes, one to fall asleep and two to keep dust out of her eye. Lucky for her, both worked. Slumber over took the feline and thrust her into a place of the unknown. Dreams.
Her dream was not one of happiness or joy. It was a place of anger and torment. This site was the place of her worst fears, the new kingdom. She dreamed of fire, threats, black mail. Fiaza's nightmare grew worse as she found herself being consumed by these things once again. This place was more and more like her other kingdom that there was very little point of leaving the ex.
The cat shook in her sleep as fear consumed ingested the poor female. Fiaza jolted and shuddered with such intensity. She jolted awake, realizing the evil was all a dream. The cold night air reassured her that nothing of that sort would happen at this new place. But the air was not always correct, it lied for the heck of it often. As much as it lied, the sky was very honest. It told the cheetah what it wanted to or even what she needed to hear.
The golden, dusty feline had been awoken so suddenly, that the cat still sweat. She stood up, knowing that maybe a quick stroll would do her good. Fiaza decided not to move far though, knowing that she was unaware of what could lie ahead. She moved her paws in the way that she would stalk prey. The cheetah moved about two feet but the darkness also assured her that near the spot she had before would be the easiest. So she sulked back.

This dark and sulky feline did not sleep. sleep was something that did not find its way into the oracles mind. Her mind was filled to the bring with thoughts, worries, and ideas that spun in circles around her brain. There was so little to do and in so little time as well. The cat found herself watching the night sky, listening to the wind and thinking the entire night. It didn't seem like morning would come faster. Time ticked away ever so slowly, and she could do nothing to make it go faster.
At home at the castle, it was easy to pass the nights away, by either sleep or by work. Sleeping always came easy to the cat when she was in the castle, in her own warm den and protected by Loki, and by the guards. There was always something over her head, and she was never out in the open. However, work always kept her awake; but it passed the time. Spirits were busy creatures and always needed her attention, constant attention. Spirits were like children, they were the little ones that always wanted their mothers love and attention. The need to care for them was a mothers instinct, to protect and provide the nourishment of life.
The moon arched over the sky ever so slowly as the snow leopard kept her eyes around the entire surroundings. There was always some sense of caution being outside and alone. There was no large jaguar chief to protect her. She was all alone. She did not count the cheetah as a means of protection; the fast one was not strong, and did not posses enough fighting power to protect even herself.
She waited, and waited for the sun to slowly come up, but it seemed like a wasteful night. The cat's ears began to twitch, an idea was planted into her head by what she would claim as the spirits. it was only hours before dawn would rise; plenty of time to do what she needed to do.

Sitting back down on the ground, the feline wait. Fiaza hated waiting she was like a bratty kit, wanted everything now, now, now! The cheetah slowly rolled into a laying position. She was trying to relax but couldn't find a comfortable spot. Suddenly the cat flopped over on her side, uneasy with the situation. When would Paxx come back? She had never liked the dark and probably never would but no matter. It seemed that there were only a few more hours left in the horrible darkness. She could wait, right?
Fiaza closed her eyes thinking of how great the kingdom here would be. She would be drowned in gold and silver. The cheetah would be awarded medals every time she came back from a hard mission. Part of her said it would be the opposite. The king would beat her every time she came back. The only thing she would be showered in would be rude comments about how her pelt was not as fine as their's.
"Like the old kingdom," The cheetah muttered to herself. Thoughts kept returning to her no matter what she did, it was horrible. She was unable to shake them. The cat couldn't take it. She stood up abruptly not knowing where her feet would take her and started sprinting. The wind seemed to pick up but in reality it was just her speed increasing.
Fiaza knew this action was nothing remotely smart but she didn't care. The cheetah wanted to be flooded with work but this was the only thing she could do. Not knowing what to do she turned quickly. Too quickly in fact that she caught a stone. A big fat stone, how could she not have seen it? Obviously because it was morning and she had no clue where she was going.
The poor cat crashed into the dusty floor. She wasn't hurt, just a little bewildered. Where was she going from here? The cheetah got back up ready to find her way back but suddenly she realized that her eyes could not see anything. Not even the female's spotted paws. It was hopeless, she laid down ready for sleep to over take her.

The restless snow leopard had a busy life, something that no other cat would ever be able to comprehend. There was always the desire to get out and get work done. the idea to make sure that everything was in order with her kingdom. this neat freak was almost as bad as a certain fox that she knew lived in the canine kingdom. She tried not to compare herself to the canines; but sometimes, it felt like that was the only object.
Paxx could not sleep, and she knew that it would not come; so sleeping and sitting upon a tree was no option. The cat wandered about the weak landscape; her night vision making the land as clear as day. She looked about the world and pondered to herself; what was she out doing?
She intended to go out and find the flowers for the cheetah; but what good would that do? She knew that the cheetah would need to branch out and find them herself; so she left that job up until the morning. It felt so weird leaving a job for someone else; she was so used to doing them herself; but now she was sharing.
Such a strange word, sharing...It was something she was not accustomed to. She was always doing everything herself, and now, she didn't have to. Paxx rarely left the castle and perhaps this was good for her.
The break of dawn was slowly coming up through the slim and clouded sky. The mountains above the horizon were watching as the sky broke above them. The vision of her night vision faded as her normal vision came back into her eyes. She wondered back around to where the cheetah would be. Her dark but shimmering purple eyes shined through the fading darkness, she sat quietly watching the cheetah in its peaceful slumber. Her eyes were like daggers, watching the cheetah. She felt almost like a mother, guarding her kit; and perhaps she was.

Fiaza drifted off to sleep with ease. Well as much ease as a dying dear that had just been mauled by a criminal canine. Let's just say that sleep would not overtake the poor feline. The very little sleep she got would be interrupted by wicked dreams of tyrants and dictators. Not being able to take much more of that world her body would jolt awake. It wasn't something that Fiaza enjoyed very much.
Dream land over took the cheetah once more. It was a world of flowers and peace until once again the leader overtook the land. Causing the fire of death and starvation of it's own people to over take the love that had been present. It was horrible. There was no where for Fiaza to run. She was stuck without a safe place to go.
Her body jolted awake. Hot, panting, and teeth bared, the cheetah woke without any more ease than entering such a world. Paxx was watching her with somewhat loving eyes. The unnatural eyes of the snow leopard were like spears but seemed to be surrounded by love. How was that possible? The cheetah didn't even want to get into that, she was ready to get back into the work mode that her mind was set in.
"I am so sorry, Paxx, it was just a bad dream." Fiaza lowered her head, angry at herself for being so defensive. She had really let her guard down but it wasn't her fault, it was her dream state that was doing this to her lately.
"I will try to controll it." The cheetah lifted her head slightly to look up at the seemingly calm cat. "I am ready to learn the ways of the messenger of this kingdom."

There would be allot to teach this cat about the ways of being a messenger, and Paxx paused to think about if she was really the right person to be training her. She looked to the sky, perhaps she was not in the right place at the moment. there was so much that went into being a messenger, something that Paxx was not aware of. How could she train this cat? She was running on thin ice at the moment; an old cat trying to learn new tricks.
Paxx looked to Fiaza and took a moment to tumble through her thoughts. Would she need to explain to her that she was not the right one for this job? Was there someone else out there that was better for the job? Paxx gave a huff out of her nose and then looked down to the ground beneath her feet.
She too had nightmares. All kinds of sorts that she sometimes could not put into words. perhaps that were ways the spirits decided to tell her things. Her visions was how she would see. There was all kinds of things that her dreams told her about; the past, the future; everything. She almost hated to sleep sometimes, she didn't want to face the world her spirits had complete control over. When she was awake she had more control; but when she was sleeping, she had no control.
She shrugged this thought from her mind; pushing it to the farthest regions of her subconscious. There was so much more she needed to focus on. The messenger that stood in front of her.
"Well, kit. There is so much more to be taught then i can myself; but I shall teach you the basics. I suggest once you learn your way you track down one of our other messengers; they can show you more then i ever could. I specialize in the unnatural, the spirits; messengers are not what I intend to focus on. But, I shall show you the basics my dear. You sure you're ready?" She let out a deep sigh that she had been keeping in her for what seemed like forever; she could get through this.

Fiaza watched Paxx, ashamed that she was having these dreams. She knew everything there was to know about delivering messages in her home kingdom. She was worried by the look of Paxx's face that she would be "laid off." That was Fiaza's only way of life. To be a messenger. There was no greater or lesser goal for the cheetah. Messages were her life and to loose that would be loosing her own life. Fiaza would just have to move if that would have happened. A world without her running on days on end to deliver the declaration of war was just the end of the world to the feline. What could she do without that? Fiaza prided herself on being the top messenger but now she was nothing but another face in the crowd. There was no greater purpose for her, might as well move away now. Leave the Oracle that she had grown almost close too and move to the next kingdom.
"Oracle Paxx, I know the way of the message. I can deliver the letters of utmost importance. I have learned everything there is to know, just the customs of your people on picking flowers is foreign to me. If you teach me just that, I can be the messenger that you wish for your messenger to be." Fiaza bowed hoping that her small speech would win over the powerful snow leopard. The thoughts billowed in her brain. What if she tells me to leave? What if I don't make it? She felt like a kit again. Asking herself ridiculous questions and making herself worry but she couldn't help it.
