The Felines are the smallest of all the kingdoms in number, but they are the fiercest. They are a rather brutish people, and are generally not above cannibalism.
In their society, they are very sexist and biased. They firmly believe Jaguars to be the dominant, most respected species among them. Because of this, the chief of the Feline tribe is always a Jaguar. When a Chief dies or steps down, the Oracles chose the next leader, since they are believed to be able to "sense" who the Gods desire.
Leopards tend to be the chief's advisors, since they closely resemble Jaguars, and therefore, are accepted as semi-royalty. Black Leopards, or Panthers, are half-heartedly accepted into the higher ranks, since they share the same blood as a Leopard, but do not display their spots (The Jaguars and spotted Leopards look down at them with a sort of absent-minded pity).
Snow Leopards are seen as the most "holy" species (as "holy" as Voodoo and Black Magic can get), but the rarest. Because of this, most Snow Leopards spend their lives as Oracles or Sorcerers, and are generally appointed by the Jaguars to be "spiritual" advisors to the royals.
Cheetahs are the next most respected, since their spots are vaguely similar to a Leopard's/Jaguar's. They are commonly used as messengers because of their speed and agile bodies. They are very useful in battle, but since they exhaust easily, they are used with caution.
Tigers are the common, middle-class species of the Felines. They do not bear the beautiful spots that their society has come to adore, so they are generally not favored among their people. However, they are not the most despicable species, so they are tolerated with a sort of amusement. Tigers are, however, skilled fighters, and can occasionally be appointed as army generals.
Lions receive a series of mixed emotions from the Feline society. They are generally middle-class, but it varies between individuals. The female lions are the most respected females of the Feline tribe (aside from Jaguar mates [though they tend to be objectified more than respected]). Lionesses can exhibit extreme ferocity, so they are frequently used as warriors. Male lions, however, can be brutish, lazy, and greedy, so are usually seen as peasant scum.
Mountain Lions/Cougars are generally used as slaves, but can be drafted into the army.
Ocelots are used as slaves. When a young slave reaches one year of age, they are expected to begin work as a servant.
