Once a means of transportation and survival, Dog sledding has become a thing of the past in all ways but entertainment. Now the once trying paths used to reach neighboring towns are used for Dog Sled races. This isn't any different for Minneola, Alaska. The quaint town of Minneola is two hundred miles east of Nome, and even smaller in size. Peaceful the town residents take pride in their sled dogs, but like the rest of the world they've evolved.
Where before there was no heating besides a roaring fire, now cabins have heating and a/c as well as electricity. Dog kennels can be heated or cooled, and expanded upon. Acres and acres of land is unclaimed and up for grabs.
One danger other then the rough and ruthless weather lurks within the minds of the citizens of Minneola. Wolves and Bears still prove to be a threat, putting both dogs and mushers in danger when out on the trail. Though feared for the most part the wolves and bears are left alone, unless they decide to go up against a desperate musher.
Will you come and see how you fair in this quaint little town?
